Local Hero 40th Anniversary Art Auction
A unique and special opportunity to own one of nine bespoke works of art created to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Local Hero. In a range of mixed media from oil to watercolour and photography to pottery there is sure to be something that captures your imagination and transports you to this magical place, the home of fictional Ferness.
Each of our artists has a personal connection with Pennan and a genuine love for the village we call home. Owning art from this special collection will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
How will the auction work?
Each piece of art will be visible on the website from 6th May and anyone interested will be able to submit a start bid and a maximum bid for their preferred item (or items) of art by email. Simply click on your artist of choice and place your bid!
Online bids will be accepted up to 5pm on Wednesday 24th May.
Any online bids that are taken will be binding and should the bidder be successful will be liable for the full bid amount as determined by the auctioneer.
On 25th May Pennan Village Hall will host a live auction in Pennan Village Hall where a small number of invited guests will also be able to submit a bid. Anyone who has submitted an online bid will be invited to join the live auction by Zoom (T&Cs apply) and will be able to increase bid on the night if they wish.
